it is practically raining every single day.
rain rain go away, come again another day...
and indeed, it comes again another day!
haha.

rain always make me think about the things around me.
more particularly about life values.
but today i am so not going to blog about life values coz i haven't thought of any or none came to my mind.
so i am going to talk about what my lecturer said!

he told us not to feel inferior when u are in SIM unlike those in NUS, NTU or SMU.
he said it is not the university that matters,
it is how we strive to make our university known to more people that matters.
just in case you all don't know which university i am studying at now.
I am pursuing a degree from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology(RMIT)
but i am studying at a local campus at SIM.
but i tell people i study at SIM instead of RMIT.

well, everytime my family goes out.
we may meet some of my parents' friends who are also parents.
then their kids will be with them.
if they happen to have a kid of the same age as me,
they will ask," where ur daughter studying at?"
then i will say "SIM"
then they will say" huh? u mean SMU?"
I will feel so pissed at that moment of time. argh! Its SIM lar! I thought to myself.
Then i will say," Singapore Institute of Management"
they will go like orh...but i think they still dunnoe where the hell it is.
fine.
I will always feel so inferior when people say they are from NUS, NTU or SMU.
I felt left out. like being looked down by people.
well well...

but i am still proud of myself because i came this far!
I managed to study what i like!
and not bound myself to study something i have no interest in and end up ruining my future path.
don't you all agree?
I decide my life.
not my parents.
thus, i have chosen this path.
and i haven't regretted since.
I love this course! =)

And to all Singaporeans out there.
pls know some current affairs.
SIM is Singapore Institute of Management!!!
it is a private university which liase with University of Buffalo, University of London etc.
