Men are like waffles, Women are like spaghetti

I read this from somewhere.
they say that men like to put their problems into boxes.
and then they will solve them one by one.
they solve one and move on to the next.

but for us women, we are like spaghetti.
for spaghetti, if you follow one strand of noodle,
you will intersect another one.
this shows that women like to talk their way through problems.
and also they are good at multi-tasking.

hmm..i find it quite true. =)

anyway, yesterday finally went to eat Billy Bombers with dear!
i love my mocha milkshake!
yum yum.

i hope he likes the paper man that i gave him.
i know it looks cheapo but it is cute!
haha. i got the inspiration from a music video. =P

helped my dad out at his worksite..

Suntec City Tower One..
we reached there at 9am plus.
the big boss opened the door for us and this marks my damn tiring day.
quite suay too. =(

i was setting up all the computers and as the table was not ready,
there is a metal piece outside.
i didn't know it was so sharp.
so my right thigh was leaning onto it.
great!
i was wearing denim on that day and guess what?
it went through my denim and cut into my skin!
i felt a stinging pain. but ignored it.
coz i thought it can't be so powerful to cut through my denim.
mind you, the denim was quite thick...

well well, this is not all!
went over to the shopping mall to buy makan coz very tired and hungry.
then i suay suay, slip and fell, all because there is something slimy on the ground.
argh! i quickly stood up.
painful!
now got blue black on my left knee and a scratch.
sian sian!

then when we were finally ready to go home at around 1am,
when i was totally worn out and totally miss my bed at that time,
wham!
the ladder nearly dropped when they were loading the cargo lift.
i was at the other end when the ladder is going to drop.
i stretched out my left palm to prevent it from dropping.
at that instant, i thought i scratched myself.
but i didn't... phew..

i reached home at around 2am and
off i went to lala land.

money hard to earn AH!

heard the radio DJ saying there is a contest going on in Singapore,
in search for the happiest people in Singapore.

How do you define happiness?
This is so subjective.
unless you are very satisfied with your current environment,
that you will be happy.
if you don't compare with others,
you will be happy.
because if you compare,
it will be never ending.

this is very true.
to be happy is to be able to be satisfied. =)
to be contented with what you have now.
it may not be the best.
but it gives you happiness
because you have parents who love you,
friends who care for you.

the DJ also said in order to be happy,
you will have to know how it is like being sad.
this is somehow true too.
i agree.
if you know what is sad, then u will know what is being happy.

actually, being happy is up to you.
you can choose to be happy or sad.
you decide your own life.
you dictate your own life.
you are the master of your soul.
no one can order you around because you are who you are.
you are not obliged to listen to others.
listen to your own heart.
believe in yourself.
and have confidence.
in this way, you can achieve lots of things that you can't imagine.

in the meantime,
i will be happy everyday!

Baking time with twin today!!!

whee!~

we decided to try the premix for chocolate chip cookies.

it turned out not bad! quite nice!

then we baked cupcakes.

not bad either.

we chatted a lot during our baking time.

cupcakes take a long time to bake!

but it is nice!

wait till dear and family taste them.

simply bagus! lol.

Our final products! =) (forgot to take pictures of the cookies.. =X)

I want to have more baking sessions with twin again! =P

it is practically raining every single day.
rain rain go away, come again another day...
and indeed, it comes again another day!
haha.

rain always make me think about the things around me.
more particularly about life values.
but today i am so not going to blog about life values coz i haven't thought of any or none came to my mind.
so i am going to talk about what my lecturer said!

he told us not to feel inferior when u are in SIM unlike those in NUS, NTU or SMU.
he said it is not the university that matters,
it is how we strive to make our university known to more people that matters.
just in case you all don't know which university i am studying at now.
I am pursuing a degree from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology(RMIT)
but i am studying at a local campus at SIM.
but i tell people i study at SIM instead of RMIT.

well, everytime my family goes out.
we may meet some of my parents' friends who are also parents.
then their kids will be with them.
if they happen to have a kid of the same age as me,
they will ask," where ur daughter studying at?"
then i will say "SIM"
then they will say" huh? u mean SMU?"
I will feel so pissed at that moment of time. argh! Its SIM lar! I thought to myself.
Then i will say," Singapore Institute of Management"
they will go like orh...but i think they still dunnoe where the hell it is.
fine.
I will always feel so inferior when people say they are from NUS, NTU or SMU.
I felt left out. like being looked down by people.
well well...

but i am still proud of myself because i came this far!
I managed to study what i like!
and not bound myself to study something i have no interest in and end up ruining my future path.
don't you all agree?
I decide my life.
not my parents.
thus, i have chosen this path.
and i haven't regretted since.
I love this course! =)

And to all Singaporeans out there.
pls know some current affairs.
SIM is Singapore Institute of Management!!!
it is a private university which liase with University of Buffalo, University of London etc.

I was like what?!?! i was stinky at that time after jogging.
so i quickly go and bathe.

he came already but was waiting downstairs for me.
he brought me to "my another house" at pasir ris =X
to cook cereal prawns.

helped his mum a while and then after lunch,
watched tv with dear.

he was playing psp all along.
well..i admit i was quite unhappy coz i am just beside him
then he still playing.
but i was glad he stopped and hugged me!
whee~ he can really read my mind.
maybe i was also thinking coz he borrowed from Harry
so perhaps he wanna make full use of the time he has when he is free to play
as he will be busy every night with the temple things for a week. =)
i understand.
that's why i didn't complain in front of him why he was playing psp when i was beside him!

as he needed to send workers back,
he fetched me back home.
before i left, i pointed to my lips.
*hinting a goodbye kiss*
then he act as though he dun wanna give but in the end, he kissed me.
haha. so sweet!

My eye is okay le!

went out with Christie and Kamini today to The Cathay Building to eat at 日本村.
the food there not bad.
end up one person paid $9.05.
hehe. saw baokia and jieren at The Cathay also.
just in case u all dunnoe, they are from SHEA. haha. what a coincidence.

then we went to plaza sing to shop around.
we kept asking kamini what she wanted for her birthday.
then she kept saying it must be a surprise! lol.
damn funny.

then we settled down at Swensen's and ordered Coit Tower and Hazel Daze.
both are ice cream by the way.
we were so full we decided on ice cream for dinner. haha.
during the course of eating, we gossip a lot!
we are really gossiping alot lar.
lol.
but i realy enjoyed myself.
they are really people of the same frequency as me and i can get along well with.
i am so glad i met you all! =)

then me and christie went home by MRT.
kamini took bus.
aiyah. she everytime take bus de...

went ice skating with dear on sunday..

went to Kallang Leisure Park..

Not bad a place but just that i fell down!

not that kind not pain de..i think according to what dear said, i hurt my tail bone!

ouch!~

i look real serious yea..this is the time when my butt hurts like hell already...

do i look like i am zooming?

haha.

then after ice skating for 2 hours, went to watch The Leap Years.

Nice movie..

the ending is quite touching..

Lilin's acting is also quite commendable given that it is her virgin movie. =)

dear and me were sitting on the couple seat coz one couple took our seat!

haha. but the couple seat is so much nicer than the Prince Lido one..

alot more comfortable...

Then off to my house for dinner after movie!

I helped to cook...

then my dad, my mum, me and dear were sitting together in the same table having dinner...

that feeling is so great!

can we have dinner like this more often?

hehe.

at around 10pm, dear set off for home coz he had work the next day.

I love the surprise!

Hope i can not be so tensed next time when we go ice skating.

I enjoyed myself.
